Job Description
Great opportunity in the foothills of western North Carolina for a Nurse Practitioner certified in Mental Health to join the mental health team at a medium size Regional Medical Center. You will be working both inpatient and outpatient. The inpatient unit has 14 beds with an average census of 12. You will spend approximately 30% in the hospital rounding on patients etc. and 70% of your time working in the outpatient clinic. They see patients of all ages but you don't have to have experience with both Adults and Adolescents as you can work with either group based on your experience. The hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30 to 5:00. Call is one weekend per month in the hospital rounding. You also have telephone call 6 nights per month. The offer a very generous salary and benefits to include major medical, dental, CME allowance of $2500, 23 days off per year, $8000 sign on bonus and interview expenses.
